Every iPhone 7 is not created equal. Yes, the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus are available in various storage capacities but what about the speed? This video aims to test the storage speed of the iPhone 7 32GB and compare it to the other iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus models (128GB and 256GB) in an effort to uncover the truth.

Will these results alter your selection of iPhone 7 or iPhone 7 Plus? Will you now be more inclined to opt for a larger capacity iPhone 7 or iPhone 7 Plus? Leave a comment down below!

*For clarity, this speed discrepancy appears in all 32GB models (iPhone 7 32GB and iPhone 7 Plus 32GB). Faster storage is found in the 128GB and 256GB iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus.

My thing is,who's really going to sit there and measure the download speeds. And even if they did, and extra 3-5 seconds won't kill somebody. Honestly just go based off your budget/iPhone needs. If u use your phone heavily it should be clear for which one to choose

Is this theory that a larger flash storage runs faster, if true at all, also applicable to iphone6s 126g compared to its much smaller counterpart? As for other specs, I have experienced that they are just specs. I have had nexus5, and 6 before switching to an iPhone se. When I had the former, I felt having higher specs phones with much lower price was much cooler than spending extra moments for inferior specs phone: the iPhone. However, I found android or maybe its nexus models a bit unstable as an OS. And the actual feeling in terms of speed on daily basis favors iOS and iPhone. When purely compararing google-produced or initiated phones, iPhones are far inferior on the specs. Again, it is just specs. Not saying they are not good.

I agree, Apple should be a little bit more transparent, but this might be one of their methods of making you to buy a product with bigger storage (a.k.a. more money for Apple).

I have the 4s still and have zero issues.. everyone is so brainwashed that they have to "upgrade" every year. its a sales tactic people!!

Johan t'Sas says:
