Key tip- don't order your repair kit from amazon. I paid $53 for screwdrivers that aren't even compatible with my screws?. ??amazon.

how to repair samsung e5 or e7

Peter Denny says:

This repair is hands down the worst idea I ever had. I went along until it trying to separate the glass from the lcd and at that point I started looking at comments. Wish I had read more earlier. I backed out at that point frustrated. you cant easily see the little screws and they fall everywhere and honestly I wish I had just bought a replacement lcd glass combo. That would have been super quick and easy. This is just not worth it. Its not as easy as he makes it look. Imagine trying to hold a flashlight with your neck and under a magnifying glass propped on my table. DONT TRY THIS. Not worth it.

Logative says:

My screen just has a bunch of vertical lines on the right side of it, what do I do ?

I'm Bobables says:

I'm hoping I get a speedy response. The screen turns on but is unresponsive. How am I supposed to turn it off?

I'm Bobables says:

Guys, for me the metal plate on the back of the screen is taped to where the home button is and around the camera to the inside of the phone. In other words, the part at 2:30. I can't take it off because I feel like ill cut a wire and the whole thing won't work anymore.

Lucky 13 says:

Does this also include the digitizer? Thats the main problem on my screen

Nicole Sutter says:

My husband and I just did this together. I had to tell to calm down a few times but we fixed it in the end. Thank you!

akrie says:

Thank you, this was great. It was very easy to install the new screen!! It was $160 to repair at the store. I end up spending just $35 to buy the screen replacement! Also using knife like you do was very useful. The tools that came with the kit didn't work well lifting small things.

Jake Carless says:

i got a screen but theres nowhere for me to connect my home button. Sick.

Jesaiah Fiame says:

Omg I have not started the process yet ,, but you make it look very simple and you actually gave me hope for my COMPLETELY shattered iPhone 6!? I'll update after the process ?? wish me luck

Hey man, Can you elaborate on the part where you mentioned the home button part and how it has to be the same one. been looking around online just to up my knowledge and some people encounter and error53 or something.

Gagandeep Bal says:

Thanx Buddy

Fred Leonard says:

Really nice guide, but missing a critical step. It's funny to watch him replace a perfectly good screen, but most of us probably are replacing shattered screens, and the suction cup will not stick to a shattered screen. I thought I would share my simple fix; put a piece of packing tape on the screen, then the suction cup will get a tight seal.

Thubten Totsatsang says:

iPhone 6 lcd not good close near the mute button why?

Samantha Sok says:

This was so helpful! I can't believe I was actually able to change my screen myself! Thanks so much!
